Welcome to the official site of Women Who Care Ministries! We are so excited about all the of many things God is going to use us to accomplish this 8th year, and in the years to come. This is the year of expansion!  We're continuing to go places where many don't want to travel; in the prisons, in shelters, in homes for battered women; in the schools, because it's all about being of service to God and to mankind!

We're extremely excited about our brand new "Helping Kids Eat Backpack Program" that was recently launched in November 2008.  We provide 10 elementary and middle schools with over 250 food packs of kid-friendly nutritious food items each week that the children take home with them, to ensure low income children aren't hungry over the weekends.  Our goal is that by November, 2009, only one year after the inception of this program, we will be providing over 500 food packs to over 15 elementary and middle schools!  What an awesome task!  With your help we are able to do this!

We are also grateful with our recent partnership with Montgomery County Family Justice Center.  We provide kid-friendly snacks to children who visit the Center with their parents to handle their domestic violence concerns.  We realize that when men and women are abused they often have to leave their residence with nothing but the clothes on their back.  And many times their children are with them.  The yummy kid-friendly yet nutrious snacks are a source of comfort to the children, but also provide the much needed nutrition and sustenance they need as they transition into a safer environment  Se we are excited that our Loving Kids Food Program can help meet the needs of these precious children coming to the Center.
